Frequently asked questions:- Q:- "Handmade" versus "Commercial Shop bought", what is the difference? A:- Handmade products are made to your personal specifications - when you want it, not lying on a shelf in a shop. Unlike commercial shop soaps etc, Handmade items are softer on the skin because they don't contain the artificial additives/preserves/hardeners that "shop" items do! We fully label all our items and keep strict Records to trace everything back to source.
Q:- "I am against all forms of Animal Cruety and Testing, how can I be sure of these?" A:- SO ARE WE! ALL Ingredients used to make our products are strictly UK sourced, from suppliers who feel as we do. All our products are handmade by us then delivered to you, the Customer. Please be assured that the only " Testing " we do, is on ourselves and very willing Family members!!! If they don't like them.....you'll never see them!!
Q:- "What's the difference between Essential Oils and fragrance Oils?" A:- Essential oils mainly come from 1 specific source e.g. The Plant, nothing is added so it is as pure as Nature intends it to be. Fragrance Oils are oils that have synthetic additives, e.g. carrier oil or water.
Q:- "I like a particular soap, but would you do it in Pure Goat's Milk for me?" A:- We certainly would, simply e-mail us with your request and we'll take it from there. As always we welcome any feedback or ideas as to what our Customers want! Q:- "I'd love to send some of your soaps as a Gift, could you deliver direct to them, or will it be delivered to my Billing Address?" A:- We would deliver to anywhere you specify,just e-mail us with your request and we'll even attach a Gift Tag too! Once payment is received, we'll confirm delivery details by e-mail so we don't send it to the wrong place! Q:- "I have very sensitive skin and also my daughter suffers from Excema, I've heard Goat's Milk soap is safe to use?" A:- Goat's Milk is renowned for it's gentle and pure healing qualities, it adds natural moisture to the skin and doesn't strip the skin of natural oils unlike some commercially produced soaps may do.Whilst we would never claim miracle results, we can only forward what our customers tell us. We have been told that whilst customers would normally have to use lots of creams after bathing etc, they've found that they have had to apply their creams less frequently. The same customers also buy our COCOA BUTTER Bath Melts - one buyer, uses these items on alternate nights, and has told us that she is more than happy with the results and feels more confident wearing short sleeved shirts! Q:- "I would like to buy some soaps but can I choose a different fragrance?" A:- Yes you can, If you look at our "About Us" page,you'll see a list of just some of the fragrances we do....the list is quite extensive and not everything is listed! |
